Image by Scutter via FlickrWe got to see and meet up with one of our grandchildren, Kyle, last night and it was a really great time. He is part of the support staff with the Blue Devils B Corp from Concord, CA. They were in Indianapolis for the Drum Corp International (DCI) championships. With his schedule we thought we would only see Kyle for a short time however we were allowed spend a few hours with him and it was really great. We also got to see the corp practice and then do a complete run through of their show.
The show was very good, we were impressed. We have been around Drum Corp since our son's first involvement in 1981 and always enjoy a great performance and this was one.
Note: Blue Devils B Corp won the DCI Open Finals this afternoon with a 97.5. Again WOW! Tonight the Blue Devils A Corp will be going after the World Finals and we will be rooting for them.
Next year Kyle will be marching with the Blue Devils B Corp and we will be trying to see all the shows we can, finals will be one of them. It is a wonderful activity and I can see the effect on
It was a great time with our grandchild and I don't think it gets much better than this.
